Don is becoming a regular visitor to our home. He and Donna have a close relationship. Sometimes he seems a bit cold towards me, but I can live with that. Just Don being Don. As long as he is making Donna happy I am fine with him coming around.
River and Don are even becoming closer. If not exactly friends as yet they are making the effort.
As I mentioned before, Donna is a very independent little girl. She is so proud of herself when she can accomplish something all by herself. I wonder how she would feel about having a little brother or sister to boss around?
Just wanted to share a couple of recent pictures of the two of us. Don't we make the cutest couple?
Guess what I am doing? I am baking a raspberry pie to enter into the pie baking competition at the fair today. Can you believe it?
So how did things work out? I won first prize! I am so proud of myself. The older gentleman had entered a lemon meringue pie but mine was the best! I got a ribbon which I am definitely going to display in my kitchen.
It was pretty cool getting to speak to the mayor of Hanford-On-Bagley too. What a fun day!
Don came by again tonight. I'm glad he and River are getting along so well. Of course, Donna just loves all the attention she is getting these days.
Thank you, Don, for making yourself at home and stepping in to be a dad to your daughter. However, there are some places in this home that are just off limits. Do you mind?
