Time is going by so quickly. Donna had her birthday and is already a toddler. She is so adorable!
As the doctor predicted, her eyes have corrected themselves. I was in hopes she would inherit my blue eyes, but this little girl in pretty much all her daddy as far as looks go. She did inherit my brown hair though.
Donna is very smart and is learning her skills quickly. She's an independent little bean!
River has the perfect job for him as a gardener. He loves his job because he is able to work from home at times. Our own garden is flourishing because of him.
I am surprised how much income we are bringing in just from the garden alone. The house is something that is always in need of improvement.
I can't even begin to tell you how nice it is to have a proper kitchen these days. New appliances are in the works, but we just have to be patient.
Don has decided he wants to be a part of his daughter's life. He has made a huge effort to come around and is spending quite a bit of time with her. I am so happy about this. Especially for Donna. Every little girl needs her daddy. Donna has two of them!
I think maybe he was just waiting for her to grow up a little bit before coming around. Some guys are not so comfortable around babies and infants. That's what I'm telling myself anyway.
As you can see, we decided to renovate the house again. I didn't like having us on different floors, so we decided to put everything on one level. It's still small to be sure, but somehow it works for us. This will be the last change we will be making for a while. It looks so much better though, don't you think?
It's such a beautiful day today so we decided to spend a little time outdoors. Though we have a washer and dryer now I decided to hang the clothes on the line to dry. I love the smell my clothes get from the fresh air. Donna loves being outside. I have to watch her closely though because she loves to play in the washtub water! Little stinker.
