In case you can't tell I am counting the days until this baby is born. My pregnancy has been mostly trouble free, but I am more than ready to her or him to get here. Do I have a preference? Not really. Don has stopped by a few times to check in on me and on how the pregnancy is going.
I think we are in a good place.
My friend and neighbor, Sara Scott, brought up a subject I hadn't thought about before. With a baby soon joining the family, I may need to be more accessible to others. I need to have access to basic things such as a phone, electricity, running water. I think she is right. I'm ready to take this step even if it means my bills will be much higher.
This is the house as it stands today. The changes are in the works so soon it will look a bit different.
Finally our baby was born. This is Donna Lothario Applewhyte, screaming at the top of her lungs! I already love you so much.
I want to tell you a little more about the new man in my life. His name is River Straud. I implied earlier that he is a distant relative of Vladimus Straud. He is. But the big question might be....is he a vampire? No he's not a vampire. He's just a regular guy that I've been dating for a while now.
Well...he's not just a regular guy. He's a super cool, good, cute, loving, sweet single guy who seems pretty smitten with me!
I must confess the feeling is mutual.
We've gone on several dates and things between us have really grown. Have I finally found the guy I can spend the rest of my life with?? I think so!
Meet River Straud. River's aspiration is to be a freelance botanist. He is a freegan, a bookworm and loves the outdoors.
