Chapter 2

Here I am. In the quaint little town of Henford-On-Bagley. This is my new home! It is small to be sure, but I am so thankful to have it. Even though my parents have passed on, I will forever be thankful to them for giving this to me.

I guess you can tell from my smile that I am very happy. This is just what I needed after all those years in a stuffy boarding school.

Can you believe how beautiful it is here in this place? I have been trying to figure out the best way to make money around here. The work is a bit scarce. I am managing to get my fishing skill up. I've always loved being outdoors and I call this my office these days! The little market on the corner has been my main source of income as she is happy to purchase whatever fish I manage to catch in a day.

Don't let the camera angle fool you! This fish really isn't that big!

It's really only this big but can still bring in a pretty good price at the market stand.

There are several fishing spots in this town. Right now I'm fishing in Bramblewood forest. There are also plenty of plants to forage and I've managed to gather some seeds to plant. I want to start a garden in order to supplement my income from fishing.

Not going to lie. It's a lot of fun...but it's a lot of work too.

I guess I'll start my garden over here. I managed to till up a small area of land and am planting some mushrooms and a few other seeds I was able to find.

Please disregard the mess. I am exhausted and in need of sleep. At least you have a pretty good idea of what my life is like at the moment.

Good night, all. See you tomorrow!
