Chapter 15

 


Where does the time go? It's hard to believe that today is Donna's birthday. I'm so glad her dad Don is able to help her blow out the candles.


Donna Lothario Applewhyte. School ages girl. The spitting image of her daddy Don Lothario.


Don continues to come by almost daily. I suppose I should just give the guy his own room.... or at least give him a key to the house, you think?


This pregnancy so far as gone well. I've had some morning sickness, but that's to be expected. 


Sometimes River gets overwhelmed with emotions. Is it a bad thing to be so happy about your life you feel almost hysterical? Right now we are just living a very happy life. I only see it getting better and better.


Can you believe it? A family evening at home and Don didn't show up for a change!


Sara and I are very close friends. She's as excited about this new baby as I am, I think. She has offered to babysit for River and I any time we need her. It's good to have a friend like her.


Sometimes I think about my parents and wish they had lived long enough to meet their grandchildren. It would be nice to be able to spend more time with them, especially with my mom during this time.
